Albion Saddlemakers is proud to introduce the new Kontinuum range, a modern evolution of the brand’s iconic K2 and K3 saddles. While staying true to the trusted K2 tree that riders know and love, the Kontinuum represents a refined approach to balance, close contact, and contemporary saddle fit—bringing together decades of craftsmanship with the latest understanding of rider biomechanics.

The Kontinuum collection interprets Albion’s classic philosophy through a contemporary lens, offering tailored benefits across Dressage, Jump, and GP models.

RIDER BALANCE & BIOMECHANICS

At the heart of the Kontinuum’s design is a more natural, supportive rider balance. Subtle refinements to the seat profile gently reposition the pelvis, promoting a centralised, aligned leg position and delivering improved comfort without restriction. Riders benefit from greater pelvic freedom, enhanced close contact, and a posture that is supportive and guided yet adaptable—equally suited to developing riders and seasoned competitors

ENHANCED COMFORT & FIT FOR THE HORSE

For the horse, the refined short-back panel provides a wider weight-bearing surface and is shaped to suit the backs of modern-day, more compact horses. This delivers a closer, more consistent contact and refined contouring to fit a wider range of back profiles. These innovations create a softer, more stable feel while preserving the trusted fit characteristics of the K2/ K3, now enhanced by greater versatility through three available arch options—V, U, and XU. For the fitter, the Kontinuum range features a bolt-in panel design, making adjustments to the tree more efficient and user-friendly when working in the field.

FINISHES, OPTIONS & PRICING

All models are available in a choice of leather finishes from our new veg-tan leather range and come in both dual-flap and monoflap options, with the GP offered in dual-flap only. Prices begin at £2,520 for Dressage, Jump, and GP models.
