Boneo Park Managing Director Fiona Selby is looking forward to a weekend of top class
Dressage action.
“Boneo Park is delighted to offer the CDI-W class in conjunction with our regular Winter
Championships to enable Australian based riders the opportunity to qualify for the World
Equestrian Games without the expense and significant time investment of travelling to Europe
for qualification as has been the case in previous years,” said Selby.
“We are grateful for the support of so many riding families and businesses who have sponsored
this event and enabled the CDI classes to take place – it is really heart-warming to receive such
support from the dressage community.”
Equestrian Australia Dressage Committee Chair Prue Spurrett said;
“Our WEG contenders take centre stage this week and it’s their last opportunity on Australian
soil to consolidate their performances for selection.”
The event also coincides with the launch of the Passage to Tryon fundraising initiative that
provides the public with the opportunity to buy in and be part of the Australian team campaign.
All money raised will be evenly split and distributed to the four riders who ultimately make the
Australian Dressage Team at WEG regardless of whether they are Australian or European based.

“The EADC is delighted to launch the Passage to Tryon fundraiser for our Australian WEG team
covering our contenders who are either locally or overseas based. For us it’s one in all in. Good
luck to them all wherever they are because September is not that far away,” said Spurrett.
