Meet Jim, he’s a 14Hh piebald gelding and a complete delight.
He’s been at Avon Riding Centre since 2015, and every week he works with 12 different disabled people.
Below, you can see him being incredibly chilled while Beatrice learns about horseshoes, and rides through the woods, with our fantastic volunteer helpers.
You can also see him looking rather dashing in the Dressage Arena at Summerhouse, working with Emily to qualify for the RDA National Championships. So he’s a great all-rounder.
Jim originally came to the Centre on loan, but when his owner decided to sell, the Centre snapped him up.
Kim Langbridge, RDA Coordinator at the Centre says “Jim is the perfect RDA pony. He’s incredibly giving, and he seems to intuitively know what a rider needs from him.”
