Show updates!

30th September

At Wellington we had the Dorson and Horrell amateur second rounds where Koda jumped a lovely clear in the first phase and unfortunately, tapped a pole in the jump off with an extremely speedy time so we just missed out on qualifying for the Dorson and Horrell national championships!

13th October

Before Parwood, Koda had a huge tantrum about loading therefore, it took a long time to load her.  When she eventually went on we managed to arrive as the last was jumping.   Nevertheless, we got in the arena in time and jumped an interesting 1m round finishing 17th! In the 1.05m we then jumped a lovely double clear to finish just out of the placings.

24th October

At Pyecombe, we had our first Blue Chip qualifier were we had an unlucky four faults resulting in no placings. We also did a warm class were we finished 4th.

27th October

Off we went back to Pyecombe a couple days later were Koda did an amazing double clear in our Blue Chip championship qualifier.  We did a speedy double clear but sadly it wasn’t fast enough to qualify.

24th November

Finally, we went to Crofton Manor which was our first indoor this season we finished 2nd and 8th!

Recently, I have been trying different bits on Koda everything from  Pelhams to snaffles, however, nothing seems to be up to her standards! So my next guess is to try going bit less as she has a very sensitive mouth so this could be perfect for her!

Koda has recently been rather cheeky to load! I have been trying all different tricks but nothing seems to be working.  So yesterday we did a session with an equine mediator, which fingers crossed has done the trick!  As I said, we have had some chaotic competitions where I have got there and had to jump on and jump basically straight away without course walking!

My genius equestrian body warmer has once again been keeping me nice and warm in the rainy British weather. The products which came in my last Barn Box have also been super helpful with lots of things…

As Christmas is coming up we have a couple of shows planned and testing out the bitless bridle.

If anyone is looking for the perfect Christmas gift I completely recommend Barn box where you can get 5% off with the code clemmieBB5
