Following the success of both the 2018 Summer of Sport Challenge and the 2018-19 Winter Challenge Arctic One have launched their own 2019 Summer of Sport activity Challenge and is open to everyone irrespective of age, ability and location. The cost is £20.00 and the proceeds go to the Foundations ‘Forward Motion’ Grant System that has so far allocated 145 Grants involving 23 different sports, including Para Dressage riders as part of this system.
So what’s the challenge?
2019 SUMMER OF SPORT AND ACTIVITY CHALLENGE – 100 Days. Commencing 24th May through to 31st August 2019

A running total of all participants with be added to hopefully cover the distance to the Moon (384,400km)
To take part the cost is £20 (Free if you fundraise £50) and we will award a quality bespoke Arctic One Bronze, Silver or Gold Medal to all those that complete their Challenge which can be ONE of the following:
Bronze
1. Complete 50 Hours of your chosen Sport or Activity (This can be any Sport or Activity including riding – you just record the time)
2. Run, Walk, Push or Row 100km
3, Cycle 500km
4. Swim 25km
Silver
1. Complete 100 Hours of your chosen Sport or Activity (This can be any Sport or Activity including riding – you just record the time)
2. Run, Walk, Push or Row 200km
3, Cycle 1000km
4. Swim 50km
Gold
1. Complete 150 Hours of your chosen Sport or Activity (This can be any Sport or Activity including riding – you just record the time)
2. Run, Walk, Push or Row 400km
3, Cycle 2000km
4. Swim 100km

We will also provide a few spot prizes during the 100 Days!
We aim that the running total of distances or time (1hr = 6km) for your sport or activity from all those signed up will cover the distance to the moon – 384,400km and an Arctic One Completion Certificate will also be provided to all those taking part if this distance is covered.
