Celebrate St Patrick’s Thursday on Day Three of The Festival. It is a typically Irish affair with plenty of Guinness available in the Guinness Village plus racegoers are treated to Irish music around the course throughout the day.
Exclusively for The Festival™ 2018 we have Irish music legends “The Fureys” performing in The Guinness Village.
As well as the atmosphere, the racing is top notch with The JLT Novices’ Chase kicking the day off, as well as The Sun Bets Stayers’ Hurdle and The Ryanair Steeple Chase.
Rather aptly, in 2017 it saw the resurgence of the formidable Irish duo that is Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh as they produced an incredible four-timer. Including scoring in the feature race The Sun Bets Stayers’ Hurdle as Nichols Canyon proved his doubters wrong to win.
St Patrick’s Thursday is a day that is guaranteed to be full of fun and fantastic racing – one not to be missed.
Don’t forget we’ve got more going on throughout the day with a selection of bands performing across the course. Get the most out of your day and see who’s performing when and where here.
