Fourteen year old Chloe Durnall from Cannock, Staffordshire has become the NAF Shining Star for March 2018. Chloe has shown a fantastic attitude towards her training as a member of the Staffordshire Junior Academy and attends every session without failure. It is Chloe’s commitment and determination which has led to her successful nomination for the NAF Shining Star Award.

Chloe was put forward for the award by Staffordshire Junior Academy Coach Di Fairclough “Chloe turns up for training come rain or shine, always does her homework and keeps her ponies well-kept and tidy. She puts in 100% effort and the improvements in her riding and ponies has been tremendous and this is all due to her excellent attitude. Chloe has had many obstacles to overcome to keep competing but it shows that she loves her ponies and always treats them with respect.”

Branwen Griffin, from NAF, commented “It’s a pleasure to hear Chloe is 110% committed to her ponies, her training, competing and the academy. With such a fantastic mature attitude, dedication and sheer determination Chloe will go far. We look forward to seeing what 2018 holds for her.  Congratulations Chloe! You are a very deserving recipient of this month’s Shining Star!”

Chloe will receive some NAF equine products to use alongside the NAF grooming products and treats that she currently uses.

The NAF Shining Star Award was introduced when NAF became a British Showjumping Business Partner. The award is for members of a Junior Academy who have shown a great deal of commitment, progression and outstanding behaviour along with their riding ability and much more. Riders are nominated by their lead coach, and then judged and awarded by NAF to one person each month.
